As a Senior Salesforce Consultant (Marketing Cloud), you will play a key role in implementing and operating high-impact Marketing Cloud environments, supporting governance and quality standards, and contributing to best practices in a people-first, fast-moving consulting environment.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

You bring:

  • Strong experience in Salesforce delivery, with a clear focus on Marketing Cloud implementation and operations.
  • Ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions and configure platform components accordingly.
  • Solid understanding of multi-channel marketing automation, segmentation logic, and governance-driven delivery.

Marketing Cloud knowledge & modules:

  • Comfortable configuring and maintaining journeys and automations using:
  • Journey Builder
  • Automation Studio
  • Email Studio
  • Content Builder / Email Builder
  • Ability to manage assets, templates, folder structures, and production journeys.
  • Understanding of integrations and data flows: SFTP, API, Marketing Cloud Connect.

Governance & data mindset:

  • Strong attention to governance, compliance, segmentation consistency, and data quality.
  • Ability to monitor usage limits and ensure sustainable platform operations.

Certifications:

  • Marketing Cloud Email Specialist (minimum required)
  • Ideally also: Marketing Cloud Administrator (strong asset / preferred)

Bonus points if you also have:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce core platform (Sales / Service Cloud) – strong plus.
  • Exposure to additional solutions such as Datorama, Interaction Studio, Audience Builder.
  • Fluent in French and English (Dutch or Portuguese is a plus).

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Salesforce Consultant – Marketing Cloud, your mission will include:

1) Marketing Cloud Platform Ownership & Operations

  • Configure and maintain Marketing Cloud environments (including multiple instances when required).
  • Create and configure emails, push notifications, multi-channel campaigns, and automated journeys.
  • Manage content, templates, assets, and folder structures.
  • Ensure the smooth execution and stability of production journeys, including monitoring and troubleshooting.

2) Administration & Governance

  • Manage users, roles, permissions, and the structure of Business Units.
  • Ensure compliance and governance aligned with digital best practices and regulatory constraints.
  • Monitor platform usage (e.g., super messages, activities, account limits) and anticipate risks.
  • Conduct audits, ensure segmentation consistency, and support data governance.

3) Data & Integrations

  • Manage inbound/outbound data flows: imports, SFTP connections, API exchanges, and Marketing Cloud Connect.
  • Validate data quality and ensure usable, coherent datasets for marketing teams.
  • Support segmentation strategy by ensuring reliable data structures and controlled targeting logic.

4) Continuous Improvement & Support

  • Analyze current processes, improve them, and document standards and workflows.
  • Identify gaps, propose optimizations, and implement best practices.
  • Handle user requests and resolve issues related to configuration or data, with a focus on long-term stability and clarity.

5) Collaboration & Delivery Rhythm

  • Work closely with marketing teams, IT, CRM and data stakeholders to align needs and execution.
  • Partner with Marketing Cloud Developers for advanced technical interventions.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute actively to sprint delivery and continuous delivery cadence.
