Enthusiastic Project Solution Engineer, LED & lighting

To support our continued growth, we are strengthening our Project Team and are looking for a Project Solution Engineer.

Your Role

You will operate in a customer‑driven, international environment, acting as a central technical point of contact throughout the full project lifecycle — from pre‑sales concept to installation and after‑sales support. This role combines technical engineering, project coordination, and hands‑on problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Project Support

·      Provide day‑to‑day pre‑sales technical support to sales teams, customers, and partners

·      Support sales with complex technical calculations, proposals, and presentations

·      Develop conceptual designs and technical documentation, including wiring diagrams (control boxes, power supplies, LED products)

·      Provide installation support (remote and on‑site)

·      Deliver post‑sales technical services (remote and on‑site)

·      Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and root‑cause analysis

2. Project Coordination & Management

·      Coordinate customer projects from concept to delivery and installation

·      Coordinate internal projects and cross‑functional stakeholders

·      Evaluate and test samples and customised solutions

·      Manage and maintain the internal testing facility

·      Plan, organize, and supervise the showroom and demo materials

3. Product & Solution Development

·      Act as technical interface with the R&D / Development team

·      Contribute to new product development, customization, and solution optimization

·      Support continuous improvement of existing products and systems

Profile & Competencies

·      Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or a related technical field (Bachelor or Master)

·      Hands‑on engineer with a strong problem‑solving mindset

·      Proven experience in project coordination or project management

·      Comfortable managing projects from concept through installation and support

·      Strong interest in LED, lighting, visual technologies, and integrated systems

·      Curious and motivated to learn about mechatronics, software, control systems, and new materials

·      Practical, solution‑oriented, and cost‑conscious, with a focus on delivering customer value

·      Strong communication skills and comfortable working directly with international customers and suppliers

·      Willing and able to travel internationally when required

Technical & Language Requirements

·      Bachelor or Master degree in a technical discipline

·      Solid understanding of technical products and systems

·      Experience in LED or lighting technology is an advantage, but not mandatory

·      Experience with project management methodologies is a plus

·      Fluent in English; knowledge of additional European languages is a strong advantage

·      Entrepreneurial mindset with initiative and ownership mentality
