As a Technical Project Manager, you will take the full technical ownership of construction projects, from early design stages through construction and final acceptance. You play a central role in ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently, safely, within budget, and in line with quality expectations. You act as a key link between internal teams, technical consultants, contractors, and management, combining technical expertise with strong coordination and communication skills.
What You’ll Be Doing
Design Phase
- Manage tendering processes, including analysis of offers, evaluation of proposals, negotiations, and contracting
- Ensure optimal solutions in terms of technical quality, performance, and budget
Construction Phase
- Monitor and coordinate project execution with in-depth knowledge of plans, specifications, and contracts
- Anticipate technical and organizational challenges and implement effective solutions
- Coordinate technical consultants, ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements
- Lead site meetings, site visits, and follow-up on planning, costs, and contractor performance
- Provide clear and structured reporting to the Technical Director
- Support purchasing managers and sales teams with technical input
Provisional & Final Acceptance
- Organize acceptance visits and coordinate detailed snag lists
- Ensure all required reports and documentation are properly collected and managed
- Guide the project through final acceptance to successful completion
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Industrial Engineering (Construction)
- At least 7 years of experience in the building construction industry
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
- Proficiency in Dutch and/or French, with a very good command of English
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and relevant technical software
