Data Warehouse & Reporting Developer (Contract/Permanent)

Location: Brussels, Belgium (one day per week onsite)

Employment Type: Contract OR Permanent

Rate: €400 p/day

Salary: €50 000 – €64 000 (depending on experience)+ benefits

Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU with no sponsorship required.

We are currently recruiting a Data Warehouse & Reporting Developer to support the European Commission on large‑scale, data‑driven initiatives. This role will focus on designing and delivering high‑quality Power BI reporting solutions, underpinned by robust data architecture within the Azure ecosystem. You will work in a multicultural, international environment, contributing to multiple high‑impact projects across Europe.

Specific Expertise (Mandatory)

• Minimum 5 years’ experience within the Azure ecosystem, including ADLS, Azure Synapse, and Power BI integration
• Minimum 5 years’ advanced expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Row‑Level Security
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with advanced SQL, including complex querying and performance optimisation
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in data modelling and data governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)

Certifications

Mandatory:

• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate

Desirable:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate
