Senior Group Employee Benefits Analyst

Job Summary

To support its continued growth, Insurope is looking for a Senior Group Employee Benefits Analyst to join its headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. In this role, you will report to the Chief Actuary. This is a unique opportunity to continue your career in a global insurance network, gaining hands-on experience in a highly analytical position. You’ll be exposed to the inner workings of international employee benefits and insurance programs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Production of Multinational Accounts
  • Production of Multinational Pooling Illustrations (i.e. quotations)
  • Responsible for analyzing technical issues and providing appropriate solutions
  • Responsible for providing inputs to the Insurope Network Members in the preparation of their quotations
  • Responsible for providing inputs and expertise  to the Sales department with respect to the Multinational Accounts and Multinational Pooling Illustrations
  • Responsible for preparing statistics and figures for the Insurope Network Members and Sales department
  • Responsible for preparing , on project basis, topics to be discussed at the Technical Committee meeting
  • Discuss deliverables and planning/timelines with all stakeholders (i.e. commercial/salespeople, network members, etc.)
  • Maintaining existing tools (in Excel and Access) and testing of new developments

 

Key Qualifications

  • Three to five years of relevant experience in the Insurance and/or mathematics and/or economics and/or financial Institutions
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree required
  • Knowledge of VBA or other programming languages (a plus)
  • Knowledge/Experience in (International) Employee Benefits (a plus)
  • Knowledge/Experience in re-insurance systems (a plus)
  • Graduate actuary (a plus)

 

Skills Required

  • Fluency in English - other languages is an asset
  • Great sense of organization and planning
  • Great sense of figures
  • Accurate - Process-driven and attentive to detail
  • Capable to work independently as well as in a group
