Function Description

To comply with the Belgian kilometer-charging system, all trucks over 3.5 tons must carry an On-Board Unit (OBU). These devices are available through self-service machines at designated Service Points.

A SIGMA Self-Service Machine is an automated distribution point for OBUs, fully designed, manufactured, installed, and maintained by the SIGMA Group.

The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring, controlling, and supporting the operation of these self-service machines—covering both OBU availability and hardware-related issues.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the ticketing system: create, assign, and follow up on tickets for technicians
  • Analyze issues using monitoring dashboards
  • Monitor OBU availability and take proactive corrective actions
  • Assign tickets to the nearest technician based on location to ensure compliance with SLA requirements
  • Provide remote support and assistance to Field Engineers
  • Diagnose and independently resolve hardware-related errors remotely
  • Communicate important incidents internally
  • Collaborate closely with the Monitoring Team to ensure service continuity


Job Requirements

  • Solid IT knowledge, especially in networking and Windows operating systems
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French (Italian is a plus)
  • Flexibility regarding working hours
  • Strong teamwork mindset
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a constantly changing environment
