Business Developer


Our strong reputation in Belgium offers significant growth potential. Due to our independent position, our hybrid model requires commercial finesse from you.


You are a key figure within the Business Development Team. Together with your colleagues and the Business Development Manager, you contribute to the further development of our B2B and B2B2C activities. Your contribution helps Testaankoop maintain its leading position as a consumer organization and helps build the future in an ever-evolving and competitive market.


You enjoy taking on a challenge, think critically, and propose solutions within a demanding context. You are the perfect link between Testaankoop and its commercial partners.



Responsibilities


  • Build relationships with existing clients
  • Expand existing products and services by fully leveraging cross-sell and upsell opportunities
  • Detect new business opportunities and be open to and actively collaborate on B2B2C AI-driven business models
  • Attend various networking events
  • Analyze needs and translate them into powerful proposals
  • Provide advice at management level (e.g. SMEs)
  • Develop your account and prospect plans together with the BD Manager
  • Regularly visit prospects, analyze their needs, and get them enthusiastic about our range of products and services
  • Regular follow-up of the sales funnel, ongoing projects, and KPIs
  • Prepare and present information (including commercial presentations) to our customers, adapted to their knowledge and needs
  • Report on results, objectives, and market developments to the BD Manager


Qualifications


  • You hold a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree and have at least a first professional experience in a commercial role
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
  • Trilingual (NL/FR/ENG): you speak and write perfect Dutch and can express yourself fluently and professionally in French (or vice versa). You also have a good command of English
  • You communicate easily at C-level
  • Commercial experience and understanding of business processes
  • Close collaboration with experts and other colleagues to detect all needs of your prospects and offer tailored services
  • A can-do mentality and a passion for connecting with people
  • Open mind, respect, creativity
  • An organized and structured approach
  • Negotiation and sales skills
  • Affinity with sustainability, consumer mediation, or consumer insights is a plus
