Oystershell Laboratories (OLAB) is our international B2B business unit, partnering with major pharmaceutical companies and strong regional “local heroes” to commercialize our innovations worldwide.
Mission of the Role
The Key Account Manager is primarily responsible for the day-to-day management, protection, and development of Oystershell’s existing B2B business.
Your focus lies in:
- Ensuring operational excellence and flawless order follow-up together with customer service
- Delivering outstanding customer satisfaction
- Managing daily customer contact and protecting existing business
- Providing customers with timely information about innovations and ongoing projects
- Act as the single point of contact for all customer inquiries, including non-commercial topics (regulatory, mastertext, quality, environmental), collecting internal input, do own research and providing consolidated responses.
- Achieving the yearly sales and service KPIs
You work very closely with the Head of OLAB, who leads strategic business development and new deal negotiations. Together, you ensure customers experience Oystershell as a reliable, proactive, and innovative partner.
Job Profile
Formal Educational Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
Experience Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant commercial experience, ideally in B2B pharma, OTC, consumer health, or FMCG.
- Proven track record in key account management with international customers.
- Strong exposure to operational follow-up, forecasting, and customer relationship management.
- Understanding of pricing, margins, and commercial analysis.
- Experience in matrix organizations is an asset.

- Highly organized with strong attention to operational detail.
- Strong analytical and planning skills; comfortable with Excel and financial logic.

- Confident handling a diverse & complex, science-heavy product range across multiple international customers and brands.
- You have an excellent knowledge of both Dutch and English.
