SQL Server Expertise - Database Administration

We are seeking a seasoned Database Administrator with expertise in SQL Server to ensure the stability, performance and evolution of critical database environments.

This is a hands-on operational role where you will oversee daily operation, maintenance and monitoring of SQL Server environments.

You will be responsible for managing database upgrades, participating in decommissioning projects and migrations, troubleshooting and resolving performance or availability issues and collaborating with infrastructure and application teams to ensure database reliability and security.

Additionally, you will provide documentation and best practices for database management.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a SQL Server DBA in complex production environments, good knowledge of Oracle DBA concepts and administration, strong troubleshooting and performance-tuning skills and experience with version upgrades and database lifecycle management.

Absolutely essential skills include excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, fluency in English and proficiency in French and/or Dutch.
