Mission:
In its role as a key partner in the digital transition within the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, is currently undergoing a major transformation. Numerous reform programs have already been implemented, and others are being defined or are about to begin.
In this context, a Senior Change Manager (M/F/X) is being sought.
The Senior Change Manager is responsible for establishing and implementing strategies to facilitate employee adoption of the major changes the company is undertaking.
To achieve this, they define and coordinate the activities that enable employees to acquire the understanding, knowledge, and ability to leverage the desired changes.
The Change Manager's mission, to be successful, requires close collaboration with numerous stakeholders within the organization.
Activities
The Senior Change Manager is expected to:
• Guide and advise the members of the management committee in their crucial role as sponsors of the initiative.
• Coach (and, if necessary, train) team managers in supporting their teams through the transitions to the desired future state of the change.
• Work closely with the program/project manager responsible for implementing the impacts (technical, operational, and organizational).
Main activities of the Change Manager:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive human change management strategy, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, ensuring that the objectives of the change initiative (program/project) are considered throughout the process.
• Identify internal and external stakeholders impacted by the change, assess their needs and expectations, and develop appropriate communication and stakeholder management plans.
• Define and manage the implementation of training for staff to prepare them for upcoming changes.
• Collaborate closely with the program/project manager and center of expertise/team leaders to assess the impacts of change, anticipate challenges, and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
• Monitor the progress of change and evaluate results, making adjustments as needed to ensure the success of change initiatives.
• Identify and address resistance to change, fostering a climate of trust and promoting a culture of openness and flexibility.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication regarding change, using various channels to inform employees at all levels of the organization.
• Measure and evaluate stakeholder satisfaction with the change management process and use feedback to improve future change initiatives.
• Stay abreast of best practices and trends in change management, ensuring the company adopts innovative approaches and adapts them to its environment, specific characteristics, and maturity level.
