About the role
As a Continuous Improvement Engineer in our Oevel site, you'll be responsible for identifying and implementing process and technology improvements within your assigned technology area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on continuous improvement, technical collaboration, and driving operational excellence.

You'll lead improvement initiatives, partner with technical experts and cross-functional teams, and support project scope definition and execution. Your work will directly impact plant performance, safety, and productivity, while contributing to Lubrizol's long-term business objectives.

About you
You bring strong process engineering expertise and a passion for driving change. You're analytical, collaborative, and committed to delivering safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

You will also bring:

• A degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical fiel
• Black Belt Certification or Project Management experience is a plus
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial operations environment
• In-depth knowledge of process technology and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience leading gap closure and project scope definition activities
• Ability to analyze production loss data and prioritize improvement opportunities
• Strong understanding of process safety and operability principles
• Proven ability to collaborate with Operations, EH&S, Maintenance, and technical experts
• Experience supporting FEL (Front-End Loading) project phases
• Strong communication and coordination skills across project and operations teams both in Dutch and English
• Leadership in new product trials and technical integrity assurance
• A proactive mindset and commitment to learning and development
