As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the accounting operations and financial reporting to ensure accurate financial information are recorded according to group policies and procedures in a timely manner. You will lead finance-related projects aimed at improving processes and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Handle accounting operations mainly focus on accounts payable, fixed asset management and general ledger review
Prepare monthly schedule, month end closing and reporting
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data
Compiles and analyses financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
Assists the department to establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
Monitors and reviews accounting and related system reports interface in accurate and timely manner
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial controls and efficiency
Interacts with internal and external auditors in completing group audit, statutory audit and tax reporting
Participate in annual stock takes
Manage finance-related projects focused on process improvement and operational efficiency
Perform other duties and ad-hoc assignments as assigned
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accountancy or other related disciplines with recognized professional accounting qualifications (HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent certification)
Minimum 6 years relevant experience in similar capacity.
Patient, initiative, detail oriented with focus on accuracy and strong sense of responsibility
Good communication and presentation skill
A good team player and able to work independently. Well-organized and good time management in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadline
Solid knowledge of finance and accounting concepts
Proficient in MS Office especially in excel and knowledge on ERP systems, SAP experience is preferred
Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
