We are currently looking for a Hardware Engineer for a definite time to join our Hardware team that has a passion to develop great products.
Responsibilities- You design PCBAs from functional specifications, creating block diagrams, schematics and selecting key components.
- You collaborate closely with electromechanics and MFT engineers to ensure seamless mechanical and manufacturing integration.
- You follow up PCBA manufacturing from prototypes to series production.
- You build and validate hardware prototypes and support integration of components and cabling.
- You develop hardware test tools at PCBA and system level together with the Manufacturing Tooling Engineering team.
- You define hardware test strategies and contribute to manufacturability with the NPI Engineer.
- You support hardware certification processes such as EMC and environmental requirements.
- You perform structured troubleshooting and validation using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and other measurement tools.
- You contribute to improving the quality and reliability of our products and PCBAs.
Requirements
- You have a master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience, with a strong passion for electronics.
- You bring 3–5 years of relevant experience in analog and digital electronics, with hands-on expertise in RF and antenna selection.
- You have sufficient understanding of firmware/software structure to collaborate effectively with embedded engineers.
- You are familiar with certification requirements and DfM principles.
- You are skilled in troubleshooting and comfortable using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and related test equipment.
- You have experience with Altium Designer or KiCad, LTspice and basic 3D mechanical files.
- You work fluently with Office applications; knowledge of Confluence and Jira is a plus.
- You are methodical, communicative and proactive, with a strong focus on quality and documentation.
- You are fluent in English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus.
