Medior OT Infrastructure

Job description

For a long-term project in Ghent, we are looking for a medior OT infrastructure & network engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for the management, optimization and support of the OT infrastructure within an industrial environment. You will work closely with the IT team and production departments to ensure a stable and secure network and server environment.

Responsibilities

• Management and maintenance of network components (Cisco switches/routers)
• Configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting of network infrastructure in OT environments
• Support and maintain HP server hardware and HP MSA (storage solutions)
• Virtualization Management via VMware vSphere / ESXi
• Incident follow-up and troubleshooting within OT environment
• Documentation of network infrastructure, server configurations and changes
• Collaborate with other IT teams for OT-IT integration

Profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position within an OT or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of:
• Cisco network infrastructure configuration, VLANs, routing, ACLs, etc.)
• HP server hardware
• HP MSA storage solutions management, troubleshooting)
• VMware
  (vSphere, ESXi, VMbeheer)
• Familiarity with network segmentation, security concepts and industrial networks is a plus
• Independent, analytical and solution-oriented
• Good knowledge of Dutch (oral and written)
