We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in the Benelux. In this role, you will develop business for flat steel in various industries (e.g. processing, machinery, consumer goods and automotive). You are managing an existing base of Benelux customers however with an emphasis on finding new customers and identifying growth areas (especially in Belgium). Also, retaining and growing voestalpine's valuable corporate relationships. Identify new market opportunities and potential customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Regularly engage with clients through personal meetings and business trips. Coordinate commercial and technical requirements with our headquarters in Austria. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as customer service and technology in our Austrian production plants. Experience in industrial sales, ideally within the steel industry or a related industry. Proven track record in Belgium Willing to go the extra mile outside of your comfort zone Confident, customer-oriented personality with strong problem-solving abilities. Proactive and efficient approach to work. Strong desire to learn and adapt. Willingness to travel (approx. 30%) within the Benelux and partially to Austria. Proficient in MS Office; CRM and SAP experience is a plus. Valid driving license (B category). Language skills Dutch: fluent, both spoken and written. English: fluent, both spoken and written. French: a basic knowledge would be an advantage. German: a basic knowledge would be an advantage.
