Environment, Health and Safety Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Environment, Health and Safety Manager to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives across manufacturing operations. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and driving continuous improvement in HSE performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement HSE strategies, policies, and procedures with company objectives and legal requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure safe systems of work for machinery and production lines
• Lead incident investigations and produce detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.
• Help deliver HSE training and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
• Monitor and audit HSE performance, ensuring compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation.

Requirements

• Experience in HSE management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing safety regulations and best practices
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification (essential).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to influence and drive a positive safety culture.
