Technical Architect

We're looking for experienced IT professional with expertise in Java/Spring development, system integrations, microservices architecture, and DevOps principles.

To join us as a Technical Architect and play a pivotal role in designing and implementing technical and infrastructure solutions that drive our digital transformation for our clients project.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and Improve: Analyze the current technology landscape to identify gaps, outdated systems, and technical debt, and propose strategic improvements.
• Architectural Leadership: Coach technical experts and IT teams in developing robust technology architectures.
• Strategic Guidance: Advise on technology investments and guide development teams toward optimal solutions.
• Alignment and Harmonization: Ensure architectural consistency across application and infrastructure projects.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, product owners, and fellow architects to enhance infrastructure agility.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in software development, conduct technical reviews, and monitor quality through stand-ups.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee application monitoring, implement configuration changes, and enforce security measures.

Your Profile

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Java/Spring (Boot, Cloud, Data), integrations, event-driven systems, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
• DevOps Mindset: Proficient with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
• Leadership Skills: Excellent coaching, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical thinker with a keen eye for quality and detail.
• Development Affinity: Hands-on experience with software development and technical reviews.
• Architectural Vision: Deep understanding of technical architecture and infrastructure design.
• Modern Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms and emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and mobile.
• Security Awareness: Knowledge of security practices, monitoring, and configuration management.

Languages:

• Dutch - Native or bilingual
• English - Nice to have
• French - Nice to have

Mandatory to have at least 5 years of previous experience with: RESTful API, Microservices, Cloud, Java, DevOps, Agile and Lean.
