Role Description

As a Business Analyst, you will help an organisation understand its digitalisation needs and translate them into clear, structured and validated requirements. You support stakeholders in identifying challenges and opportunities, mapping their processes and defining changes that improve workflows, policies or digital tools.

You will analyse and optimise digital processes within an existing Microsoft 365 ecosystem, working closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and propose functional solutions. You think proactively about improvements within the platform and help ensure that new or updated processes are aligned with broader architectural guidelines.

You will also support larger digitalisation projects by documenting processes, defining functional requirements for new developments or integrations, and structuring your analysis using modelling languages such as BPMN or ArchiMate.

This role requires strong communication skills, structured thinking, and the ability to collaborate smoothly in multilingual environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse business needs and translate them into functional requirements
  • Identify and document opportunities for process optimisation
  • Facilitate requirement workshops, interviews and working sessions
  • Map "as-is" and design "to-be" processes using BPMN, ArchiMate or similar modelling languages
  • Support digitalisation initiatives within a Microsoft 365 environment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects and delivery teams
  • Document decisions, requirements and processes clearly and consistently
  • Provide insights based on data analysis to support decision-making
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and support colleagues when needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis or digitalisation projects
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 solutions and integration possibilities (Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform…)
  • Experience modelling enterprise processes (BPMN, ArchiMate, or equivalent)
  • Ability to uncover, analyse and structure business needs
  • Experience facilitating requirement workshops and documenting outcomes
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and capable of interpreting data
  • Strong communication skills, able to manage expectations and work with diverse stakeholders
  • Comfortable learning new tools, techniques and methods
  • Able to collaborate effectively in a multilingual environment (Dutch, English, French)

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with architectural frameworks
  • Knowledge of process modelling tools (e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect)
  • Experience supporting change, training or process guidance
  • Ability to coordinate or guide other analysts when required

Additional Information

  • The role is full-time and hybrid, depending on the organisation's needs
  • Occasional security or compliance checks may be required depending on the nature of the project
  • You will support a large digitalisation programme with long-term impact
