Team leader data and analytics

As a Team Leader Data & Analytics, you play a key role in shaping the data-driven future of our marketing organization within the Compressor Technique Service division. In this position, you lead a multidisciplinary team of data analysts, BI experts, and engineers, ensuring they deliver valuable insights and innovative solutions that strengthen the global marketing strategy. Through your leadership, you create a culture where accountability, agility, and technical excellence are central. Collaboration is essential in this role. You work closely with marketing stakeholders to translate their needs into data-driven solutions that make a real impact, and you regularly align with fellow team leaders to define joint priorities and manage a shared backlog. In addition, you coordinate with product managers and business development managers to ensure the roadmap remains aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. Your communication skills and ability to build trust help you effectively balance technical priorities with business needs.In addition to leadership, you bring hands-on technical expertise. You guide your team in applying best practices for workflows, CI/CD processes, and data quality, and you encourage the use of modern technologies such as Databricks, Azure, Python, and Terraform. You ensure that all solutions comply with the applicable standards for security, governance, and lifecycle management. Furthermore, you act as a technical mentor and support your team in building robust, scalable, and efficient data products.

• 5 years experience in data engineering and data analytics.
• 2 years experience in team or program leadership with strong coaching
• Strong understanding of data product principles and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, BI tools, and modern development practices

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Atlas Copco airpower site in Wilrijk; Antwerp, Belgium (BE).
