Technical Sales Support Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technical Sales Support Specialist, based in Beringen. In this role, you will provide technical expertise and sales support to clients, addressing their specific needs and ensuring tailored solutions. Responsibilities include engaging with clients, preparing proposals, managing sales operations, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to maintain client satisfaction and foster long-term relationships. An experienced engineering team will support you technically.


Your Responsibilities

  • Manage and distribute incoming customer emails to the right colleagues and follow up on feedback.
  • Manage all activities with a priority list and prompt collaborators, suppliers and customers on time appropriate actions to provide timely service to the customer;
  • Prepare and send quotations; forward price requests to the appropriate team members and ensure proper follow-up.
  • Process and coordinate orders so that all deliveries reach the customer on time.
  • Ensure smooth administrative handling of customer inquiries and internal communication.
  • Support the team with reports, presentations, and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist in preparing technical solutions
  • Track sales reports and manage customer communications


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Technical Sales Support and Sales Operations
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively engage with clients and address their needs
  • Experience in Technical Support, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to service delivery
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Understanding of industrial or technical products; experience in related industries is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred


Your Profile

  • You are accurate, well-organized, and able to set clear priorities.
  • You have a good command of English, both spoken and written as well as German.
  • You are proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; knowledge of other administrative tools is an asset.
  • You can handle a high volume of emails and requests while maintaining a clear overview.
  • You have experience in customer interaction and in collaboration with technical departments, allowing you to respond effectively to technical questions.
  • You possess strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • You take ownership rather than count hours.
