Solution Architect Public Market

About the role We are looking for a Solution Architect to design innovative IT solutions and support presales activities for strategic projects. You will collaborate with internal experts, vendors, and clients to deliver high-quality architectures that meet business and technical needs. Your responsibilities Presales & Client Engagement Support business development teams in defining solution strategies Participate in client meetings and presentations to showcase technical and business value Solution Design Create end-to-end architectures for custom development and integration projects Ensure scalability, security, and compliance in all solutions Proposal & Tender Management Prepare detailed technical proposals and contribute to commercial offers Manage public tender responses, ensuring compliance with regulations Vendor Collaboration Evaluate software products and negotiate terms with vendors Integrate third-party solutions into overall architecture Internal Coordination Work closely with competence centers to leverage expertise Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders What we're looking for Technical Expertise Strong background in IT architecture and solution design Experience with custom development and system integration project Presales & Tendering Proven track record in presales support and proposal writing Familiarity with public sector procurement processes Vendor Management Skilled in evaluating and integrating third-party solutions Communication Skills Excellent presentation and stakeholder management abilities Analytical & Strategic Thinking Ability to translate client needs into practical, innovative solutions Soft skills: Influencing and negotiation skills Strong collaboration and leadership qualities Adaptability in dynamic environments Client-oriented mindset Nice to have: Experience with multi-cloud environments Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (Togaf) Understanding of security and regulatory standards in public sector IT Location: Brussels - Hybrid Languages: ENG + FR or NL (public sector so it is a must)
