About the role
We are looking for a Solution Architect to design innovative IT solutions and support presales activities for strategic projects. You will collaborate with internal experts, vendors, and clients to deliver high-quality architectures that meet business and technical needs.
Your responsibilities
Presales & Client Engagement
Support business development teams in defining solution strategies
Participate in client meetings and presentations to showcase technical and business value
Solution Design
Create end-to-end architectures for custom development and integration projects
Ensure scalability, security, and compliance in all solutions
Proposal & Tender Management
Prepare detailed technical proposals and contribute to commercial offers
Manage public tender responses, ensuring compliance with regulations
Vendor Collaboration
Evaluate software products and negotiate terms with vendors
Integrate third-party solutions into overall architecture
Internal Coordination
Work closely with competence centers to leverage expertise
Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
What we're looking for
Technical Expertise
Strong background in IT architecture and solution design
Experience with custom development and system integration project
Presales & Tendering
Proven track record in presales support and proposal writing
Familiarity with public sector procurement processes
Vendor Management
Skilled in evaluating and integrating third-party solutions
Communication Skills
Excellent presentation and stakeholder management abilities
Analytical & Strategic Thinking
Ability to translate client needs into practical, innovative solutions
Soft skills:

Strong collaboration and leadership qualities

Nice to have:
Experience with multi-cloud environments
Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (Togaf)

Location: Brussels - Hybrid
Languages: ENG + FR or NL (public sector so it is a must)
