As a
Innovation Lead & Entrepreneur-in-Residence
, you will be in charge of investigating innovation opportunities for N-SIDE.

What You'll Do

• Ideation & Discovery: Systematically identify, research, and validate new market opportunities and product ideas. This includes market sizing, competitive analysis, and identifying key customer pain points.
• Rapid Prototyping: Take part in the design and development of minimum viable products (MVPs) and prototypes to test core hypotheses quickly and cost effectively leveraging AI code generation techniques.
• Customer Validation: Conduct customer interviews and validation tests to gather qualitative and quantitative data. Your primary goal will be to prove or disprove core assumptions about the product and market.
• Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive business plans, go-to-market strategies, and resource requests for promising concepts to be presented to senior leadership for additional funding.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Nurture collaboration with other BUs and leverage talents of N-SIDErs and build strong internal relationships.
• Communication & Reporting: Clearly and concisely communicate project progress, learnings, and setbacks, work in close collaboration with the Chief Innovation Officer and other key stakeholders, focusing on data-driven insights.
• Proposal writing: Contribute to the redaction of funding proposals for customers or funding agencies (e.g. Walloon Region, EU, …)

About You

• You have an engineering degree, PhD is a +
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience
• You have successful experience in using AI to quickly develop prototype applications
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivation, and a high level of energy
• You are analytical and have strong strategic thinking ability
• You have outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• You are an active listener eager to learn with strong emotional intelligence
• You are a tech enthusiast with an innovative mindset
• You are results focus and solution oriented
• You are collaborative and a team player
