Automation Engineer

• You will be responsible for the electrical design and programming of the PLC machine controls.
• This includes creating planning and installation schedules for the machine automation process.
• You do the functional electrical final inspection before dispatching the machines to be installed.
• You assist with the upgrades and service interventions of the machines at the customers' sites.
• In collaboration with the suppliers and the procurement department, you specify the needed electrical components.
• You travel internationally (up to 30%).

• You have a master in Electromechanics or a relevant field with a focus on automation.
• You have a strong technical comprehension and excellent knowledge of PLC machinery control and programming with Siemens (Tiaportal, Step7) and Rockwell.
• You are familiar with EPLAN.
• You can visualize the process (SCADA/HMI).
• You design electrical control cabinets.
• You know how to prioritize tasks.
• You possess a proactive personality with a sense of initiative and a customer-oriented and commercial mindset.
• You have a good proficiency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
