Datacentre Technician

FuturWork is actively looking for a Datacentre Technician to join the IT/OT Operations Infrastructure team. The objective of this team is to support, maintain and modernize the IT/OT Operations Infrastructure. The Datacentre Technician will be executing specific datacentre tasks:

Install servers, switches, patch panels… and apply copper and FO cabling.

Participate to the "as-is" and "to-be" cabling docu-mentation (e. g. precise maintenance of the Configuration Management Database, datacentre layout…).

Ensure that the datacentre as-built documentation is top notch (plan and document as-builts for the datacentre).

Become a first line contact point for the IT/OT Operations Network team to apply changes in the datacentre.

Participate in a datacentre management roll (e. g. rack layout, security aspects, cooling…).

General skills

At least be able to follow passively a conversation in both of our national languages Dutch & French (this is a must).

Passionate about IT/OT Operations Infrastructure technologies.

Analytical reasoning skills for problem diagnostics.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to work in a regulated environment.

Skills & expertise

• Have expertise in cabling ICT equipment racked in datacentres (e.g. servers, switches, patch panels, …).

• Be structured, precise and well organized.

• Be able to work with Windows Office, with a basic knowledge of Excel.

• Having a "Security Clearance" (ideally, Secret Level).

• Have at least 5 years of similar expertise.

Timing & place

Place of mission: 1040 Brussels

The start date of this mission will be January 2026

The regime will be full-time.

Interventions during outside working hours or during weekend are exceptional, but possible.
