We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in data analysis to support the Information Systems unit of a European public sector organization. The role involves analyzing, documenting, and modeling business processes and requirements to support digital solutions and IT operations across multiple sites.
The position is near-site, with the possibility of remote work, but the candidate must be within approximately two hours of Brussels.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business requirements, functional specifications, and business cases.
- Conduct business model and business process analysis.
- Model business processes using BPMN, UML, or equivalent techniques.
- Perform risk analysis and contribute to project documentation, including Vision documents, Project Charters, and Security Plans.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable solutions.
- Support multi-lingual, multi-cultural teams in an international working environment.
- Prepare and deliver high-level presentations to stakeholders.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information systems and large organizational administrative processes
- At least 3 years of experience with analysis and modeling tools (use case diagrams, state diagrams, ER models, interaction diagrams, etc.)
- Knowledge of BPMN, UML, or similar process modeling standards
- Strong knowledge of collaborative platforms (e.g. Wiki) and software development methodologies (RUP, Agile)
- English proficiency (C2 level preferred)
