Brand Standards Coordinator
Le Pain Quotidien is a chain of bakery-restaurants founded in 1990 by Alain Coumont. Alain was dissatisfied with the quality of the bread being sold in Brussels, so he started experimenting with his own sourdough bread. The sole ingredients: flower, water, salt and time. His concept was a success because in the meantime there are over 200 Le Pain Quotidien restaurants in over 20 countries worldwide.
Role Overview: As Brand Standards Coordinator, you help ensure all our restaurants meet our quality standards for guest service, food safety, products, and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct both scheduled and surprise audits of restaurants to check compliance with brand standards
· Summarize audit findings and create action plans for improvement
· Work with local teams to schedule brand audit training sessions where and when required
· Manage your own calendar and budget
· Support and coach restaurant teams, providing tools and tips to help them improve
· Manage our internal audit platform and brand standards database
· Coordinate with other departments, external partners, and vendors
· Assist with opening new countries and support operations with admin tasks
Your Profile:
· Based in Belgium (ideally Brussels, but strong candidates from elsewhere are welcome)
· Bachelor’s degree is a plus
· Experience in food service or restaurants; auditing experience is a bonus
· Communicative English and French. Other languages such as Spanish are a plus
· Detail-oriented, independent, proactive, and quick to learn
· Comfortable with remote communication tools like Teams, Outlook
· Willing to travel within and outside Europe
