We are currently looking for a Knowledge Management consultant to strengthen the Cronos Europa team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about organizing, curating, and managing content to ensure that knowledge is accessible, valuable, and aligned with the strategic objectives of the organization. As a Content Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our internal knowledge repositories and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities:Content Curation & Management:
Curate, organize, and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base, ensuring that all content is easily accessible and relevant to the needs of the organization.
Develop and implement content management strategies to optimize knowledge flow and ensure that information is up to date and of high quality.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and departments to create, categorize, and organize knowledge resources (e.g., documents, case studies, reports, guidelines, etc.).
Knowledge Repository Oversight:
Maintain and update knowledge repositories, ensuring that all content is categorized effectively and that metadata is applied for easy searchability.
Implement best practices for content management, including version control, tagging, and content lifecycle management.
Establish and enforce governance processes for content creation, review, and archiving.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
Work closely with Knowledge Managers, IT teams, and other departments to align content strategies with organizational goals and ensure seamless integration of knowledge into everyday workflows.
Facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives, such as webinars, workshops, or internal forums, to encourage cross-departmental collaboration.
Ensure that employees across the organization are aware of and have easy access to the content they need.
Content Evaluation & Reporting:
Regularly evaluate the quality and relevance of content in the knowledge management system, performing audits and gathering feedback from users to ensure content is meeting their needs.
Provide reports and insights on content usage, gaps in knowledge, and opportunities for improvement.
Continuously assess emerging tools, technologies, and content formats to enhance the knowledge-sharing experience.
Content Governance & Compliance:
Ensure that all content complies with organizational standards, policies, and any legal or regulatory requirements (where applicable).
Establish and manage workflows for content creation, approval, and archiving to ensure consistent and high-quality content is produced.
Education:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Information Management, Communications, or similar) is preferred.
Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience in content management, knowledge management, or a related field.
Experience in curating and organizing large sets of content and information.
Familiarity with knowledge management tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Confluence, Documentum, etc.).
Proven track record of creating and maintaining structured content repositories and databases.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of content management systems (CMS) and enterprise knowledge management tools.
Knowledge of taxonomies, metadata, and content categorization.
Experience with document management systems and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Confluence).
Familiarity with basic HTML, metadata tagging, or other web-related technologies is a plus.
Communication & Organizational Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple content projects simultaneously.
Collaboration & Problem-Solving:
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Critical thinking skills to identify content gaps, challenges, and solutions.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
Change Management:
Experience in driving change initiatives related to knowledge management or content management within an organization.
Content Creation:
Experience in content creation (e.g., writing, editing, or multimedia production) is a plus.
Language Skills:
Proficiency in English is essential; additional languages (e.g., French, German) are a plus, especially in an international working environment.
