Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSISTANT

What will you do?

• You are responsible for all quality-related customer inquiries regarding products, processes, and procedures (e.g., product specifications, traceability, questionnaires, statements, etc.).
• You update and implement centrally driven or overarching procedures and work instructions from the quality manual, in agreement with the QA Manager and in accordance with legislation, BRC & company standards, and customer requirements.
• You keep product specifications and/or company information in external databases (SpecsPlaza, PS in Foodservice, Sedex, …) up to date.
• You evaluate raw material specifications, including packaging, for the approval and management of raw material and finished product specifications in SAP.
• You prepare external audits and provide the necessary support (including BRC, ACS, BIO, FCA, Riskplaza, RSPO, Kosher, Halal).
• You perform internal audits of centrally managed processes and procedures and follow them up.
• You act as backup for handling and following up supplier and customer complaints in case of resale goods.

What do you bring?

• You have at least a bachelor’s degree in food or chemistry.
• Work experience in a similar role in the food industry is an advantage.
• You are a team player who works accurately, proactively, and in an organised way.
• You are customer oriented.
• You work fluently with MS Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
• You work precisely with a critical eye for detail.
• Knowledge of HACCP and experience with SAP are plus points.
• You have knowledge of Dutch, French, and English.
