We are looking for a passioned Backend .NET Software Engineer to reinforce our tech team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Act as an active member of the backend team, by implementing new key features through clean, maintainable, and robust code
• Cover the new code with integrations tests
• Review the other team members' pull requests
• Analyze complex technical problems; design and implement effective solutions
• Optimize and offer potential solutions to existing implementations

WHO YOU ARE

• 2 years of hands-on experience with OOP, CQRS, web development in .NET Core and .NET 5+, C#, ASP.NET (WebAPI)
• Solid understanding and experience with object-oriented design and design patterns
• Solid experience with relational databases
• Strong knowledge of version control tools like Git
• Understanding of web standards such as HTTP, REST
• A start-up, agile mindset: you are comfortable with frequent changes and thrive in fast-paced environments
  
• Strong communication skills with an ability to explain complex IT problems in simple, businesslike terminology for ease of user understanding
• Quick learner that can work and troubleshoot problems independently
  
• Fluent in English, French or Dutch will be a plus
• Based in Belgium, with a valid work permit and able to work from the Brussels office in a hybrid mode

Nice to have:

• Any other programming language such as, Python, PHP, Javascript, C++
• Frontend technologies such as React, Next, Remix
• Redis, Docker, CI/CD principles
• Knowledge of mobile development (iOS or Android)
• Having worked on personal projects
  
• Experience with pair programming and Agile software development techniques
• A passion for music
