INTRO Are you a natural-born planner eager to make an impact in a dynamic, global environment? Step into the role of Crew Planner and play a key part in ensuring smooth and efficient operations for an offshore fleet that is developing top-notch technologies. In this position, you will work closely with the Crew Operations team to oversee personnel planning across multiple vessels. Your goal: create balanced schedules that meet project and vessel requirements, ensuring successful execution of complex operations. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES You will take ownership of crew planning (up to several hundred people) for the disciplines assigned to you, across all vessels: Serve as the primary point of contact for vessel superintendents on planning matters Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders: HR, Vessel Management Team, Learning & Development, and crew members Collaborate with Operations Managers to address long-term workforce needs Determine resource requirements and make key decisions with Discipline Managers Provide Crew Operations Team with valuable input on planning and special requirements Monitor and manage crew shortages or surpluses, reporting to HR and Operations Resolve short-term planning challenges quickly and effectively Stay in close contact with vessels regarding crew composition and balanced experience distribution Work with HR on career development and promotion opportunities for crew members YOUR PROFILE To succeed in this role, you should recognise yourself in the following: 5+ years of experience as a (Crew) Planner Experience within the maritime sector is a strong plus, but not required Ability to manage complex schedules, shifting priorities, and unforeseen circumstances Strong communication skills: assertive yet diplomatic Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage Willingness to travel occasionally, including visits to vessels and the main office EXTRA What you can expect: Location: Region Kalmthout A collaborative, te...
