Senior Database Administrator – Brussels

We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator to join our clients TechOps team in Brussels. This role offers a flexible work arrangement, with 50% on-site and 50% remote work, allowing you to balance professional challenges with personal flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage MS SQL, Oracle, and other databases.
• Analyse and resolve database-related issues.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and implement improvements.
• Conduct daily checks, including monitoring alerts and managing backups.

Skills & Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Windows Server 2019/2022, RHEL, Oracle, and MS SQL.
• Knowledge of MariaDB, Postgres, or Cassandra is a plus.
• Fluent in English; Dutch and French are advantageous.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Analytical with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.
