Data Analyst

Purpose of this role

• To participate in the relevant data analysis & mapping activities in the context of the NN portfolio to the target Client systems.
• The candidate will work closely with the data mapping team to support the overall data migration delivery, giving detailed attention to the documentation and implementation activities.

Key Contribution Areas

• Data mapping of the different data (structured/unstructured) from the different AS IS to Target systems.
• Analysis of existing data quality.
• Mitigation plans for non-regression of data quality during migration.
• Excellent documentation and writing skills
• Facilitate the definition and rollout of indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements
• Provide progress reports to data migration PM
• Ensure project compliance with Architecture and Data Principles & SLDC / PMO guidelines and company’s risk and compliance framework
• Build effective working relationships with business partners and across the Athora Group at all levels to aid effective collaboration and communication

Functional or Technical Knowledge and Skill Required

• MUST HAVE: 5+ years of experience in Life Insurance
• MUST HAVE: A Minimum of 3 years working as a Data Analyst/Business Analyst
• MUST HAVE: SQL querying, AWS environment
• Prior experience working in data migration projects
• Good communicator and fluent in English, French & Dutch
• Experience in working with offshore teams
• Based in Belgium.
• Ability to deliver to tight deadlines
• Ability to interpret and present information and data in a practical format and articulate to all levels
• Excellent time management to ensure deadlines are met and critical projects are prioritised
• Flexibility to cater for changing work and time demands
• Excellent MS Office skills
