Job Purpose:

The role of Senior Analyst / Site Accountant is critical in the transition of finance operations from legacy local teams to a centralised FP&A & Automation function. Please note, this position will be based in Bavikhove and managing day-to-day analysis and reporting for Copaco and Mermet EU. The Senior Analyst will also support the Manager in automation projects, EPM closing, audit preparation, and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the monthly close, reconciliations, and local accounting activities for Copaco and Mermet EU.
• Contribute to automation efforts across reporting, reconciliations, and standard journals.
• Prepare and submit closing data.
• Support pricing, capex, and savings tracking processes.
• Assist in preparing for Copaco and Mermet EU audits.
• Act as deputy for FP&A and Automation when needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience with Process Improvement and Automation.
• 5+ years in accounting/finance roles, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong Excel and ERP knowledge (Microsoft AX, Business Central preferred).
• Working knowledge of EPM tools (Oracle) Power BI, Power Query, and Power Automate.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage transitions independently.
• Dutch and English fluency is essential.
• French fluency is advantageous.
