BMS/PMS Package Manager - Data Centers

In this position, you will:
- Collaborate closely with the wider project leadership team to manage schedules and ensure smooth coordination of Building Monitoring Systems (BMS) and Power Management Systems (PMS) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a proactive safety advocate on site, promoting compliance and taking part in frequent safety reviews.
- Take ownership of the BMS/PMS work packages, guiding all phases from delivery and installation through system integration and final commissioning.
- Work in partnership with MEP groups, automation and controls specialists, commissioning teams, and external contractors to keep activities aligned and on track.
- Oversee procurement, installation, and commissioning efforts for all BMS and PMS components, ensuring they meet design criteria and project expectations.
- Coordinate with QA, Commissioning, and EHS teams to maintain strong performance standards and regulatory compliance.
- Monitor and manage package-related costs, including labour, materials, subcontractor activity, and change orders.
- Track site progress closely and address challenges linked to quality, safety, or design discrepancies as they arise.
- Lead coordination sessions with subcontractors and vendors, resolving technical issues and ensuring deliverables remain on schedule.
- Guide the final handover, ensuring all documentation, testing, and commissioning records are completed and ready for acceptance.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Bring experience as a Construction Manager on large, complex builds such as data centres, industrial facilities, or advanced technology environments.
- Hold a degree or have equivalent experience in Construction Management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Have strong knowledge of BMS, PMS, and other essential infrastructure systems within construction settings.
- Are experienced in coordinating specialist subcontractors and technology providers involved in BMS/PMS delivery.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with proven success managing technical scope.
- Understand the full project delivery cycle—from early procurement through commissioning and handover.
- Are confident using scheduling tools and cost- and quality-management systems.
- Know how to motivate teams and drive coordinated, effective project execution.
- Build strong working relationships across diverse project structures, collaborating well with internal teams, consultants, and stakeholders.
