Data Quality Controller

What will you do?
As a Product Data Quality Officer, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of product information within the organization. You develop and implement data processes, monitor data quality, and proactively identify and resolve inconsistencies. You also ensure compliance with data standards, regulations, and internal guidelines.

Key responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor the quality of data entered into the systems, identifying inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and missing information. Take corrective actions where needed.

• Identify and correct incomplete, outdated, or incorrect data.

• Perform regular checks and analyses to assess and improve product data quality.

• Collaborate with various departments to maintain and optimize data processes.

• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal data quality policies.

• Develop and improve the ETL tool (FileMaker Pro) for integration with the ERP system.

• Create functional analyses to identify data issues and contribute to structural improvements.

• Provide training to colleagues on proper data entry procedures and best practices, emphasizing the importance of accurate data and consistent data quality.

Who are you?

• You hold a bachelor's degree.

• You are fluent in both Dutch and French.

• You are proficient in Excel; knowledge of macros is a plus.

• Experience with ERP systems, SQL, and/or Python is a strong asset.

• You have strong analytical skills and can quickly identify and resolve data-related problems.

• You understand data quality principles, standards, and best practices.

• You work with precision and have a keen eye for detail.

• You communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

• You are solution-oriented and proactively contribute to process improvements.

• Knowledge of data governance principles is an added advantage.
