We are working with a high performing client who delivers ambitious data centre builds across Europe. They are looking for a HSE Lead to work on a large scale, high voltage construction project where safety is key. The role is to lead the management of high risk activities across all project phases working closely with stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain robust reporting and communication structures to provide visibility of HSE activities across the project
• Champion the implementation and continuous improvement of risk control measures
• Evaluate the effectiveness of site level HSE planning
• Conducting audits, mentoring teams and driving excellence on site
• Design and implement safety strategies and procedures
• Ensure contractors establish outstanding safety practices and procedures
• Maintain and enhance health and safety management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)

The role will suit someone with construction safety management experience as well as HSE team management experience ideally within data centre sector. Strong track record in contractor management and stakeholder engagement. Extensive understanding of European HSE regulations and standards. Legal right to work in Belgium.
