Talent Level and Type : L2 Network

Language : Local + English

Tech should have knowledge of fiber cable activity

Tasks to be performed:

Clean-up of old copper cabling (patch cords in IT-room)

Cleanup of fiber cabling (in IT-room) and re-cable current IT racks.

Transfer of IT devices from old IT-rack to new rack (PCs, Printers, PLC)

Decommission of old devices once transfer is complete

Remove old IT devices out of Rack A so dismantle of Rack A can be done.

Cleanup of fiber cabling (in IT-room) and re-cable current IT racks

Connect each cabinet with a fiber patch cord to the new fiber backbone

Check connection of the network switches

Remove the old fiber patch cords

Decommission of old devices once transfer is complete If a device needs to be changed on IP address, coordinate this change Remove old IT devices out of Rack A so dismantle of Rack A can be done

Switches in the old rack that have no active ports anymore need to be removed

UPS to be powered down and removed from cabinet.
