Opportunity

Together with Belgium Defence, ILIAS Solutions is managing the full data lifecycle and maintenance of the F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) at the F-35 Operational Squadron Facility on Kleine Brogel Air Base.

We are strengthening our team with a Senior System/Network Administrator who will be directly supporting the F-35 flight operations within a modern and developing IT environment.
"Due to the nature of the role, remote work is not permitted. The position requires full-time presence at Kleine Brogel Air Base."

Skills
All skills below at e-Competence Framework level 3 and minimal 3 years of experience in a similar IT System environment.

EMC Network-attached Storage (NAS)/Storage Area Network (SAN) Technology
Virtualization Technology
Web Application Server Technology
Messaging and Messaging Queuing Technology
Application Troubleshooting (Customer Relationship Management (CRM)/ Industrial and Financial Systems (IFS)
Scripting (shell, batch)
Wide Area Network (WAN)/Local Area Network (LAN) Infrastructure & Technology
Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
Network Topologies
Secure Socket Layer (SSL)/VPN
Experience in Layer 2 and 3 Networking
Experience in both Windows and Unix/Linux systems administration and operating systems
Experience with network routers, switches, taps and firewalls
Demonstrated ability to analyze and prepare designs for networks in relation to intrusion detection systems (IDS)
Ability to travel to other sites may be required
Demonstrated experience with the management, design, and installation of servers, routers, switches, and network taps in a business environment
Extensive Troubleshooting experience with Unix, Linux, Windows operating systems
Extensive Troubleshooting experience with network hardware including but not limited to Juniper/Cisco switches, routers and Net Optics taps
Demonstrated PC and networking skills, including NetMeeting, conferencing servers. - Working knowledge of reading blueprints and wiring server racks
Systems administration experience with servers and network installations/integrations
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Driven by quality customer service
Coordinate with local host communications
