As an E2E Supply Planner you will be responsible to drive the optimal planning of clinical supplies from an End-to-End perspective across all dimensions of the clinical supply chain.
You will drive the planning during the study execution phase of pharma R&D clinical trials, covering Small Molecules, Protein Therapeutics, Cell Therapy and RnA & Gene Therapies. The Supply Planning team is focused on developing the unconstrained End-to-End supply plan to ensure Successful Patient Dosing.
What You Will Be Doing:
Defines the E2E planning configuration of the supply network
Develops replenishment strategies and reviews alternative sourcing options
Drives the development of the constrained E2E production and inventory plans
Aggregates various demand types across trials and products in collaboration with Clinical Supply Chain Integrators, Trial Supply Leads and CMC Team members, to provide overall demand for Drug Product and API at the compound level.
Translates the demand into DP and API requirements, including critical components and DP intermediates.
Provides information to the Supply Network Planners team and Plant Schedulers to allow master scheduling of packaging and manufacturing campaigns in line with the requirements.
Is accountable for accurate inventory records across the supply network
Manages the inventory allocation and expiration dates of Drug Products, API and critical components
Develops scenarios to avoid or resolve potential supply constraints
Your Profile:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Science plus additional experience, Generally requires (5+) years related experience or Master's Degree plus additional experience, Generally requires (2+) years related experience
Supply Chain certification preferred (e.g. APICS)
Experience with several of the following processes: inventory management, supply chain management, supply planning, Lean and 6sigma, systems (SAP R/3 or ERP), other cross-functional business processes common to the pharmaceutical or process industry
Insight in a production environment, preferably in a pharmaceutical or process industry, its characteristics and constraints and Q&C requirements
Demonstrates a good understanding of the E2E supply network, ensures understanding of the drivers impacting the supply network. Pro-actively identifies the need for scenarios and drives the process of scenario development and evaluation together with team.
Experience with GMP and/or Quality management systems and processes
Strong analytical skills: managing complexity and ability to identify process gaps based on data or root cause analysis, ability to predict risk/impact of supply related processes
Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries in an international environment through influencing, negotiating and partnering
Ability to communicate complex issues and solutions to different levels of management for effective decision making
Ability to understand global E2E Supply Chain and/or processes and interdependencies to optimize internal and external decision making
Proven knowledge of project management and supply/demand management tools
