Position Overview:

Performs repetitive assembly operations to produce conveyors for the material handling industry.

 Job Description:

• 10% - Read mechanical and electrical blue prints
• 10% - Assemble frames
• 10% - Assemble parts
• 60% - Pneumatic and electrical assembly, including control cabinet assembly and wire
• 10% - Assisting in other departments such as roller room, fabrication and plastics.
• Places parts in specified relationship to each other.
• Bolts, clips, screws, or otherwise fastens parts together.
• Works at different work stations as production needs require.
• Works on floor where tasks vary depending on design of equipment.

 Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Electrical/technical and two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Blue print reading and electrical schematics
• Computer Knowledge; operate calculator
• Basic use of hand tools; cordless drill; pneumatic tools, socket set, wrenches, open end and box end, screw drivers –regular and Phillips and pliers – regular and channel lock
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization

Travel:

• This position requires infrequent travel.
