What you´ll do
  • Support the daily Quality Assurance activities at the Henkel Belgium Operations production site in Drogenbos, which manufactures pressure-sensitive adhesive technologies ("Loctite") for Industrial, Medical & Pharma markets.
  • Handle product quality complaints and out-of-spec batches, leading investigations and following up on implementation plans and corrective actions for the Drogenbos plant.
  • Lead product and quality reviews in line with internal standards and procedures.
  • Analyze multiple sets of data and support decision-making with strong analytical insights.
  • Contribute to the site's GMP / Hygiene improvement program by leading small improvement projects.
  • Provide support to the Quality Control unit when needed (raw material control via FTIR, finished goods control via gas chromatography, standard physical property tests such as pH, viscosity, relative viscosity, non-volatile content, etc.).
What makes you a good fit
  • Master's degree student in Analytical Chemistry.
  • Knowledge of statistics applied to analytical methods.
  • Knowledge of gas chromatography is a strong plus.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong planning and follow-up skills.
  • Strong technical and data analysis skills required.
  • Willingness and ability to be based in Drogenbos area (Brussels) during the internship.
  • Ability to speak English and French.
  • Available for 1 year as from July 2026, and eligible to work and stay in Belgium for the duration of the internship.
