Commercial Marketing Manager

Our amazing European Growth Market team is now looking for a Commercial Marketing Manager - Trade Marketing. To support the commercial and trade marketing execution of Tropicana Brands Group within the Benelux and South west European markets, in close coordination with our appointed distributors.

This role ensures flawless implementation and follow-up of activities agreed in the annual Joint Business Plans, maintaining strong brand visibility, consistency, and executional excellence in-market.
The position does not include direct customer negotiation, sales order management, or contractual authority as it is handled by our distributors in their respective markets and we have no influence on the terms and conditions they negotiate with their clients.

Your Next Pour: The Opportunity & principle Accountabilities: 

  • Trade Marketing & Activation Execution
  • Coordinate and follow up on all marketing and trade activities agreed in the annual Joint Business Plan between Tropicana Brand Group and Distributors
  • Ensure high-quality implementation of promotions, activations, and in-store visibility programs according to brand guidelines.
  • Manage POS materials, translations, and creative localization in collaboration with regional marketing and agencies.

Distributor Coordination & Market Support 

  • Act as day-to-day link between Tropicana Brands Group and distributor teams for the operational follow-up of plans.
  • Consolidate distributor feedback and identify gaps or executional white spaces in the markets.
  • Propose corrective actions and share insights with the regional commercial and marketing teams.
  • Monitor distributor performance versus KPIs and ensure alignment with AOP targets.

Reporting & Insights 

  • Track and report on market visibility, assortment, pricing, and competitive activities.
  • Provide regular updates on in-store execution, brand compliance, and activation results.
  • Analyze data and recommend optimizations to improve executional efficiency.

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

    • Collaborate with regional supply chain, finance, and marketing teams to ensure smooth coordination of activations.
    • Support financial tracking of marketing budgets, ensuring activities remain within approved limits.
    • Ensure compliance with brand, communication, and regulatory requirements across all markets.

        5.Budget & Label Management

    • Oversee budget tracking and reporting, ensuring accuracy and alignment with AOP and marketing investments.
    • Coordinate the development, approval, and localization of packaging labels for new and existing products, working closely with agencies, legal, and regulatory teams.

    Foundational Ingredients & Core Competencies: 

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent field.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG marketing, trade marketing, or distributor management.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and markets simultaneously.
    • Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and marketing dashboards.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and internationally.
    • Fluency in Dutch and English; French and/or Italian is a strong advantage.
