Medior Data Platform Engineer

Responsibilities
<\/p>

· Collaborate with business teams to explore data usage possibilities and improve data clarity.
<\/p>

· Help business users gain control and deeper understanding of the data they work with.
<\/p>

· Drive optimisation of data usage within departments.
<\/p>

· Challenge and refine data definitions to ensure clarity and consistency.
<\/p>

· Support business users in developing and maintaining future data insights.
<\/p>

· Work in multidisciplinary teams and ensure clear communication in Dutch and English.
<\/p>

Required Skills & Expertise
<\/p>

Must Have
<\/p>

· Minimum 3 years of experience as a specialist architect in at least one domain (networking, security, server infrastructure, application architecture, ERP, ECM, Datawarehouse/BI) or Enterprise Architect.
<\/p>

· Minimum 4 years of hands -on experience with Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
<\/p>

· Minimum 3 years of experience building data pipelines.
<\/p>

· Minimum 4 years of experience with Python.
<\/p>

· Minimum 6 years of experience with SQL.
<\/p>

· Knowledge and experience with modelling techniques (Archimate, Togaf, UML, Sparx EA).
<\/p>

· Dutch CEFR level C2.
<\/p>

Should Have
<\/p>

· General knowledge of business processes.
<\/p>

· Knowledge of project management aspects (cost, timing, coordination, planning, estimation).
<\/p>

· Knowledge across all IT domains and proven specialist skill in at least one (infrastructure, applications, security, data, process).
<\/p>

· Experience with Data Lakes.
<\/p>

· Experience with dbt.
<\/p>

· Experience with DWH environments.
<\/p>

· Experience with GIT.
<\/p>

· Experience with Microsoft Azure.
<\/p>

· Experience with Terraform.
