About the Role
You will be driving new business acquisition and market penetration for the LexisNexis sales team. You will build solid internal networks with both commercial and editorial colleagues. You will maintain knowledge of our editorial output and its relevance to your clients and prospects.
Responsibilities
Drive new business acquisition and market penetration for the LexisNexis sales team
Build effective relationships with key stakeholders in strategic and designated accounts with the purpose of expanding LexisNexis solutions across the designated territories and sectors
Managing the complete sales cycle from lead identification through to customer relationship management and successful deal closure
Collaborating with stakeholder departments to ensure an integrated approach to customer care and that market needs
Keeping up to date with market changes and developments, as well as new products
Maintain a strong New Acquisition Pipeline with accurate deal closure forecasting
Maintain an accurate Pipeline with clean Customer/Prospect data in the CRM system
Requirements
Fluency in English is mandatory, and fluency in a 2nd language (Italian, Spanish, Polish, German) is a plus
Have a proven track record of working successfully in a stimulating and commercially driven sales environment (ideally within data, SaaS, data, LegalTech sectors).
Have experience of working in B2B business development role
Have solid negotiation skills and experience of selling to corporate customers
Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective and influential working relationships
Have a genuine curiosity with public affairs and regulatory developments
Have experience operating with senior decision makers
Ability and willingness to travel on a regular basis
