Mithras Underwriting Europe SRL is a dynamic Lloyd's Coverholder, established in Brussels in 2018 as our new Headquarters of the BDB Group part of the Brown & Brown Team.
With over 30 years of experience across Italy, France, UK, Belgium and Netherlands, we pride ourselves on our rich history, heritage, and unwavering drive.
We specialize in arranging wholesale insurance products and services through Lloyd's and The London Market, covering a wide range of risks including accident and health, property, liability, professional indemnity, motor, yacht, and fine art.

The Day to Day:
 

• Developing appropriate new business opportunities to gain market share in SME D&O Benelux.
• Developing new business opportunities in the Cyber Insurance market (Benelux)
• Developing close working relationships with our key brokers
• Engaging in strategy, product and marketing development to consolidate and build on a solid, sustainable and profitable book of business
• Broking (BDBE) or Underwriting (MUE) business to or on behalf of underwriters in a professional manner, observing proper standards of market conduct.
• Business Development – to maximise business opportunities by visiting our clients
• Technical analysis of policy contents
• Official communication with clients
• Monitoring the retention of renewals and the growth of new business
• Maintaining all client files in an orderly and efficient manner

• Comprehensive understanding of the Commercial D&O (sme) and Cyber product line
• An experienced professional with a good market reputation as a technical expert, proactive in identifying opportunities and takes initiatives to support our business goals.
• An excellent communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills both written and verbally. 
• Ability to build strong relationships
• MS Office skills, especially strong Excel
• Fluent in Dutch, English and French
• Positive, proactive attitude
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to analyse data and draw conclusions from complex information
• Efficient time management and organisational skills
• Willingness to learn and develop
