We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Solution Manager to join our team in Lier, Norway, and drive the growth and competitiveness of our product family in the marine automation, navy segment. The position holds both technical and commercial responsibility for the product portfolio, supporting global sales and operations.
About the positionWe are looking for a Solution Manager to lead the development and performance of our navy product portfolio. In this strategic role, you will drive profitable growth, ensure competitiveness in a demanding defense market, and position our solutions to meet NATO and national naval requirements.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited toDevelop and execute the business strategy for navy automation solutions.
Identify and pursue new opportunities in the defense and naval sectors.
Ensure offerings align with NATO and defense standards as well as customer expectations.
Collaborate with engineering, sales, and delivery teams to ensure successful execution of complex naval projects.
Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for internal stakeholders and external partners.
Managing product profitability through pricing, cost-efficiency, and lifecycle planning.
Expanding the service and product portfolio tailored to navy customers.
You are a strategic and technically grounded professional with a passion for delivering solutions in the naval domain. You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in automation, instrumentation, cybernetics, or a related engineering field, and bring minimum 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within marine engineer, defense, or naval systems.
You are recognized for your expertise in your field and have a proven ability to operate in a global, cross-functional setting. Experience with NATO or navy project deliveries is a strong advantage.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Norwegian is a plus, as the preferred work location is Lier, Norway.
