As a Semiconductor CAD & PDK Development Expert, you will play a crucial role in enabling semiconductor design through advanced Process Design Kit (PDK) development and integration. Working with cutting-edge Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools, you'll create the foundation that empowers design teams to bring next-generation semiconductor products to market.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Developing and validating comprehensive PDKs including Design Rule Checking (DRC), Layout vs. Schematic (LVS) checks, and Parasitic Extraction (PEX)
• Creating and maintaining advanced library components and Parameterized Cells (PCells) for semiconductor design
• Integrating and verifying EDA tools across multiple platforms to ensure seamless design workflows
• Providing detailed documentation and technical support to design teams using your PDK solutions
• Managing version control and repository systems for PDK components and libraries

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, and Mentor Graphics
• Demonstrated expertise in semiconductor PDK development and layout design methodologies
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and their impact on design rules
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Tcl/Tk, and Shell for automation of design tasks
• Experience working in Linux environments and managing IT systems for semiconductor design
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
