EV Market Development Manager

EV Market Development Manager
with deep expertise in the electric mobility and energy ecosystems to play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, building partnerships, and driving growth in this rapidly evolving sector.

As an
EV Market Development Manager
, you play a key role in expanding our presence within the rapidly evolving EV and energy ecosystem. You will identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships and business opportunities that strengthen our position as a trusted technology partner in smart mobility and energy management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnerships:
    Build and nurture long-term relationships with charge point operators (CPOs), energy providers, utilities, and technology partners.
  • New Business Development:
    Identify and prospect new potential customers with electric vehicle (EV) and charging needs, aligning our solutions with their strategic goals.
  • Account Management:
    Maintain and grow the existing customer portfolio, ensuring satisfaction and sustainable collaboration.
  • Customer Engagement:
    Deliver engaging and well-prepared presentations and demonstrations, clearly communicating our value proposition.
  • Needs Analysis:
    Understand each client's operational and strategic challenges to propose tailored, value-adding solutions.
  • Smooth Onboarding:
    Work closely with the Service Delivery Consultant to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation for new customers.
  • Market Insight:
    Stay informed about the latest technological developments, regulatory changes, and trends within the EV and energy market.
  • Opportunity Translation:
    Translate complex market and regulatory evolutions into new business opportunities and commercial strategies.
  • Commercial Development:
    Develop robust business cases and attractive commercial models for both existing and new solutions.
  • Representation:
    Act as an ambassador of our company at industry events, conferences, and in discussions with strategic stakeholders.
  • Go-to-Market:
    Lead and support go-to-market initiatives for new EV and energy-related products and services.

Who are we looking for?

You are a dynamic and commercially minded professional with a strong interest in both IT and mobility. You have a proactive mindset, enjoy working with clients, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Your Profile

  • Education:
    Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience within the EV, charging, or energy domain – preferably in a SaaS or technology-driven context.
  • Expertise:
  • Demonstrated track record in business development within the EV/energy/charging ecosystem.
  • Established professional network within the mobility, utilities, or smart energy markets.
  • In-depth understanding of industry regulations, interoperability standards, and market dynamics related to EV charging and energy management.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.
  • Languages:
    Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch and/or French is considered an asset.
