Senior MEP Cost Manager / Estimator

The Role
As a Senior MEP Cost Manager, you’ll take ownership of cost management for mechanical, electrical, and process packages on large, high-complexity construction projects. You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues, have direct access to approachable senior leadership, and play a key role in ensuring transparency, accuracy, and value for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse tenders and bids, with a strong focus on MEP packages.
- Develop cost plans, estimates, and budgets for complex technical projects.
- Prepare valuations, cost reports, and clear documentation for client decision-making.
- Support the resolution of construction claims and disputes related to MEP installations.
- Assist with the preparation and agreement of final accounts.
- Monitor project spend and communicate variations effectively.
- Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to a collaborative, open culture.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience as an MEP Cost Manager, Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, or similar role.
- Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with highly complex buildings, such as:
- Data centres
- Pharma / biotech
- Battery storage
- Heavy industrial or manufacturing
- Oil & Gas
- Clean rooms / high-tech facilities
- Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, or process systems.
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- Based in Belgium or willing to relocate (must already have the legal right to work).
- Able to manage your own workload and maintain accuracy under pressure.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: €100,000 – €130,000 (depending on experience)
