HSSE Performance Analyst

Why this role matters
The HSSE Performance Analyst will play a critical role in consolidating, analysing, and transforming health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) data into meaningful insights for JNBP and its project partners (bp, Parkwind NV, and JERA Nex).

The role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent HSSE performance reporting, leveraging advanced data analytics tools to drive transparency, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement. The HSSE Performance analyst will also act as the system administrator for the incident management tool.

In this role you will have the following responsibilities
:

Transition/Set-up Responsibilities
Data Analytics & Insights

  • Set up HSSE Power BI dashboards.
  • Develop and implement data contract.
  • Establish data validation and collection processes across JNBP.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency of performance data across all partners.

Reporting

  • Set up dashboard reporting framework for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Enhance reporting frameworks to improve consistency, and analytical depth.
  • Establish ownership and definitions for corporate HSSE reporting procedures and templates.

System Administration

  • Initial set-up of Incident Management Tool (configuration, data fields, workflows).
  • Establish automation and efficiency in system reporting and data extraction.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop initial KPI tracking dashboards and analytics models to forecast trends and measure performance.
  • Define performance metrics, baselines, and data sources with stakeholders.

Ongoing Support Responsibilities
Data Analytics & Insights

  • Collect and validate HSSE performance data monthly from multiple sources.
  • Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all partners.
  • Conduct monthly data analysis and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Produce regular analytical outputs for weekly, monthly, and annual reports.

Reporting

  • Produce monthly HSSE performance reports for JNBP Leadership.
  • Prepare quarterly HSSE performance reports and ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Prepare and submit G+ quarterly reports.
  • Perform quarterly and annual data quality assurance.
  • Maintain and update HSSE dashboards.
  • Manage ownership of corporate HSSE definitions, reporting procedures, and templates.
  • Coordinate NOJV reports.

System Administration

  • Provide ongoing administration, user support and training for the Incident Management Tool.
  • Support risk notification and endorsement processes.

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Track HSSE KPIs and trends on a monthly basis.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with stakeholders to highlight data-driven improvement actions.

To be successful in the role you will bring
:

  • Proven experience in data analytics, reporting, or performance analysis (HSSE experience desirable but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Competency with reporting tools and HSSE systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across partner organisations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and data-driven reporting tools; exposure to AI-enabled analytics an advantage.
